Disclosure of Personal Information

The Adoptables, Inc. (to be referred as "The Adoptables") will not sell, trade, share, or rent personal information other than as described in this Privacy Notice and other Terms and Conditions. The Site provides functions as an 1) Applicant (to be referred as the "Applicant") and as an 2) Administrator of Applicant (to be referred as "Shelter") such that personal information must be provided in order to conduct business intended by the TheAdoptables.com (to be referred as the "Site"). The Adoptables only provides Applicant personal information associated to a profile account and application to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or other partner businesses or persons for the sole purpose of processing such information on Applicant’s behalf. The Adoptables does not release personal information for marketing and advertising purposes. The Adoptables requests that our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or other partner business or persons acknowledge our Privacy Notice and put forth reasonable efforts to protect Applicant and Shelter personal information where applicable.

The email, phone number and address Applicant or Shelter provides in registration will be associated to said profile account and can be used to contact Applicant or Shelter in regards to the processing of an application or inquiries submitted to the Site.

We reserve the right to release personal information when The Adoptables believes it is appropriate to comply with law or protect any persons rights, property, and safety including that of The Adoptables.

The Adoptables takes reasonable measures to protect personal information solicited as a part of the profile or application that is processed, transmitted or stored on the Site. However, The Adoptables cannot guarantee your information will not be intercepted by others considering the Internet is an open system. Any personal information processed or transmitted on the Site is protected by a secure socket layer (SSL) protocol. If you choose to release information that is solicited outside of the information collected via the default inputs of this Site (such as information collected in interview by Shelter), The Adoptables cannot protect or control its dissemination outside of the Site and encourages an Applicant to use caution when submitting personal information to Shelter and that the Applicant understand his or her privacy rights to the extent business can still be executed properly.

Payment Gateway

The Adoptables uses a third party payment gateway (to be referred as the "Merchant"). The Site transfers Applicant’s request for payment to the Merchant. The Site does not transmit, process, or store electronic payment information, but instead transfers the Applicant to a secure website owned by the Merchant for payment.

If you choose to submit payment to the merchant in order to process your application, you will be asked to input your credit or bank information to the merchant. You agree to not hold The Adoptables, Incorporated liable for any loss or damage resulting from submission of payment to or on the merchant website. You agree to pay the processing fee identified on the Site by submitting your application for processing.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies for logon authorization only to remember the Applicant or Shelter for future visits to our site. Cookies are small data files that are stored on your computer when you visit the website.

Third party websites that have links on our website may store cookies on your computer. The Adoptables does not have access to or control of these cookies.

Links to third party websites for such services as, but not inclusive of, advertisements and payment gateways have their own privacy policies and are not affiliated with the policies published on our website. Thus, we have no responsibility or liability for the services or content of these third party linked sites.

Your California Privacy Rights

A business subject to California Civil Code section 1798.83 is required to disclose to its California customers, upon request, the identity of any third parties to whom the business has disclosed personal information within the previous calendar year, along with the type of personal information disclosed, for the third parties' direct marketing purposes.
